Job description
The Applications Manager will join the team responsible for the development and corrective maintenance of our customer's applications.
The functional scope of this role covers, in particular, the Building Security and Technical Management systems, the EDM solution and the associated interface tools.
He or she will be responsible for several applications and tools, in both functional and technical terms. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the applications entrusted to you, from both a technical and functional point of view (application operation, business activity concerned, connection and interoperability, workflows, production plan, SLA level, etc.). He/she works in close and permanent contact with the IT Department's technical teams (management, architecture, infrastructure, network, operational security).
Main tasks
On all the applications and tools within his/her scope, which may be developed by in-house teams or external publishers, deployed OnPrem or in the Cloud:
Managing supplier and contractual relations
Regulatory monitoring and compliance
Operations and user support
Project management and application upgrades
Deployment and production
Documentation and supervision
Possible activities
As part of all projects within the scope of the application:
His or her knowledge of software technologies and architectures enables him or her to play an active part in the design phases of upgrades and corrections to the solutions deployed on the customer's IS.
Qualifications/education required: 3/5 years' higher education - Training in digital and/or IT professions
Length of experience required: 5 years' proven experience in a similar position as applications consultant, applications manager or RUN project manager
Language: professional English required, advanced level preferred
Experience with a major account or large public body is desirable
