Automation Engineer - IT Department (Infrastructure, Network & Security) - CDI - Monaco

You will design, develop and maintain automation tools and platforms enabling :

• Industrialise infrastructure deployments and configurations
• Automate MCO/MCS operations (patching, updates, checks)
• Guarantee the consistency of the technical standards defined by the architecture
• Reduce manual tasks and improve operational efficiency
• Strengthen IS security and compliance
• You will be involved in both Build and Run activities.

⚙️ Main activities

🔹 Build

• Development of scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Creation of Ansible playbooks and roles
• Integration into CI/CD chains
• Construction of standardised IaC patterns
• Development of specific solutions (non-standard)
• Participating in the architecture and evolution of models (CI/CD, API, GitOps)
• Setting up automated tests
• Drafting technical documentation

🔹 Run

• Supervision of automation tools (AWX/Tower, CI/CD, API)
• Analysis and resolution of incidents
• Corrective and evolutionary maintenance
• Automation of security and compliance checks
• Management of updates and dependencies
• Backup and restore management
• Continuous updating of documentation

🤝 Environment & interactions

You will work closely with:

• Network teams
• Security teams (F5, firewall, etc.)
• Infrastructure teams (ESX, storage, etc.)
• Architects

• As automation is a cross-functional lever, you will be involved across the entire IS, from Build to Run.

• 5 years' higher education (engineering school or equivalent) or 3 or 4 years' higher education with strong experience in automation/infrastructure
• At least 5 to 10 years' experience in infrastructure automation
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
• Rigour, attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to document and share best practice
• Strong interest in automation and continuous improvement

• Ansible (roles, collections, vault, Jinja2)

• Python (API, scripting, packaging)

🎓 Certifications appreciated:

• Terraform Associate (a plus)
