Back-End Java Developer (M/F) – Permanent Contract – Alpes-Maritimes 06

On a day-to-day basis, you will be required to:

• Help define business requirements
• Assess and design technical solutions
• Implement technical solutions
• Regularly delivering features with high business value
• Analysing and rectifying faults
• Help validate the delivered developments (unit tests, code reviews)

Education

• Engineering degree or a five-year post-A-level qualification in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience

• At least 5 years’ experience in Java development

Skills

• Significant experience in Java development on similar projects
• Good knowledge of the Java ecosystem
• Knowledge of distributed architectures such as CQRS, Event Sourcing or Microservices
• Ability to work within a structured development process
• Awareness of development standards and best practices
• Interest in developing business-oriented features
• Basic understanding of continuous deployment and application version management

Proficiency across the entire technical stack is not required. A good understanding of the Java ecosystem, a strong interest in business challenges and a desire to develop within a rich technical environment will be particularly valued.

• Back-end: Spring, Quarkus, Kafka, Hibernate, Oracle, ElasticSearch, MongoDB
• Front-end: JavaFX
• DevOps tools: Jenkins, Kubernetes, Git, Maven
• Distributed architectures
