DevOps Engineer - Web Applications & Deployment - CDI - Monaco

Job description

This position is part of a digital transformation initiative aimed at improving the performance, quality and agility of the Information System. The DevOps Engineer will join the Products and Brands team in the Digital Services Department, which is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Monaco Government's business applications. He/she will work in close and permanent contact with all the teams in the DSN and the IT Department (management, architecture, infrastructure, network, operational security).

Activities

• Carrying out design and application architecture work;
• Coordinating the various technical teams involved in the project (infrastructure, security, network, etc.);
• Supervising the deployment chain and helping to validate technical components;
• Guaranteeing service availability;
• Diagnose application performance problems and help validate technical components;
• Coordinating and participating in the deployment chain (e.g. production launches);
• Implementing the automation of the deployment chain across all environments (development, acceptance and production);
• Assessing the workload for new projects and the maintenance of applications already in production;
• Participating in MCO/MCS operations for platforms and applications, analysing logs and querying databases;
• Participating in the implementation of the Principality's digital transition programme;
• Analysing functional requirements and proposing appropriate technological solutions;
• Maintaining the availability, integrity, security and performance of applications;
• Supervising the annual audit of platforms;
• Drafting technical architecture documents (DCT / DAT);
• Participating in drafting and presenting application technical approval files to the CISO and the AMSN;
• Drafting technical documentation (decommissioning work, technical migration of software packages, etc.).

Required qualifications

Hold a national engineering diploma attesting to five years' higher education or a diploma recognised as equivalent by a competent authority in the country where the diploma was obtained, in the field of information systems.

Length of experience required

At least 7 years' experience in a similar role

Mastery of :

• French, both written and spoken;
• The Red Hat Linux operating system, including the administration and configuration of environments;
• Industrialisation and continuous integration tools: Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, JUnit, Zabbix, Docker;
• Configuration/administration tools such as Ansible.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, DB2, MySQL, ... ;
• SQL querying;
• Technologies: Java, Hibernate, Spring Boot;
• Development tools: Eclipse, Maven, Git, Gitlab, Postman, NPM;
• Scripting: Shell, Bash, Yaml;
• Platform concepts for a sensitive IS;
• Information system architecture and infrastructure;
• Enterprise network management: F5 bigIP ;
• The application server: Jetty ;
• RESTful API design and development (JSON, OpenAPI, JWT);
• The drafting and exploitation of technical documents related to a software platform requirement (scoping, technical specifications, DAT, DCT, DEX) ;
• Knowledge of :
• Keycloak and Kafka software ;
• SSO authentication services and the integration of standard protocols such as OpenID Connect and SAML;
• The ELK suite, in particular: Elasticsearch, Kibana;
• Language technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSON, JQuery, Bootstrap, Vue.js
