Digital E-Commerce Manager - permanent contract - Monaco

We are supporting our Monaco-based client in its digital transformation and are looking for a Digital & E-Commerce Manager.

As a key, structuring position, the Digital & E-Commerce Manager will steer the commercial and digital performance of the website and all the e-commerce systems.

Positioned at a strategic level, with strong operational involvement, he/she works independently but in constant interaction with :

  • the IT Department, for business processes, the tools chosen and technical matters,
  • the Communications Department for image, UX and editorial content,
  • Scientific Marketing for validation and scientific consistency,
  • Direct Marketing for CRM and emailing.

It reports to the Chairman and CEO.

Missions

You will be responsible for the overall digital and e-commerce strategy, with the main aim of optimising online sales and the customer experience.

Digital & e-commerce strategy

  • Defining and steering the digital and e-commerce strategy in line with the laboratory's vision and objectives.
  • Constructing and deploying an action plan geared towards growth, conversion and customer value based on the pure player model.
  • Identifying development opportunities based on an analysis of market trends, digital usage and customer behaviour.

Site performance and the buying process

  • Overseeing the ongoing development and optimisation of the e-commerce site: UX, navigation, purchase tunnel, merchandising.
  • Transforming the user journey into a high-performance shopping experience.
  • Prioritise functional upgrades in conjunction with the IT Department and the teams concerned.

Acquisition, loyalty & marketing levers

  • Managing acquisition levers (SEO, SEA, paid media, affiliation, social ads).
  • Overseeing the customer loyalty, CRM and customer journey strategy.
  • Directly manage :
    • the Acquisition department
    • the Loyalty / CRM / SEO department

Performance management

  • Defining and monitoring key KPIs: traffic, conversion rate, average basket, sales, ROI on actions.
  • Analysing performance and making strategic recommendations for optimisation.
  • Produce regular reports for management.

Digital customer experience and relations

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the online customer experience.
  • Working with the relevant teams on digital customer relations systems (FAQs, customer reviews, conversational tools).
  • Ensuring that the experience is consistent and seamless across all digital contact points.

Profile

  • Higher education in digital marketing, e-commerce, communications or equivalent. Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar position (with proven results).
  • Experience in the health, food supplements or well-being sectors is a plus but not essential.
  • Experience on e-commerce sites with high business stakes required.
  • Languages: French and English

Know how

  • Excellent command of e-commerce environments (CMS, payment solutions, analytics tools).
  • Solid skills in SEO, SEA, digital marketing and managing paid campaigns.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale digital projects (redesign, optimisation, e-commerce growth).
  • Good understanding of data, UX and conversion issues.
