The assignment will take place within the IT Technical Department, and more specifically within the Operational Governance of Publishing entity.
The GOE-AL team is made up of 9 software architects spread across all our client's sites.
These software architects are cross-functional and are likely to work on all our customer's IS applications. However, they are assigned an application portfolio.
In order to meet the various challenges of the 2023-2026 projects (ReSIlience, GCE, Alice, Celia), the GOE-AL team needs to consolidate its Software Architecture team with a Software Architect who is highly experienced in the following technologies: Java / J2EE, Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Angular, JBoss.

Purpose of the assignment :

A software architecture service will provide local support for projects delivered at the Paris site, in particular applications for managing auxiliary accounting or internal IS applications.
It will also be responsible for certain inter-regime applications developed at Cagnes by ProBTP.
He or she will help to standardise working methods.

Missions

  • Designing the software architecture of new IS applications in compliance with the architecture framework and performance, security and operability requirements
  • Supervising, supporting and validating the design of the software architecture when this is carried out by the projects
  • Supporting, guiding and monitoring project teams in the use of frameworks (software architecture)
  • Organising code reviews and technical design reviews to check that the software architecture has been implemented correctly, that frameworks are being used correctly and that norms and standards are being adhered to
  • Promote best practice within the company (modularity, dependencies, etc.)
  • Supporting development teams in resolving technical problems requiring significant expertise
  • Defining and implementing a continuous software quality control process.

Technical environment :

  • Java 8/17, Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, JPA/hibernate, CXF, Vaadin, Angular 16
  • WS SOAP, WS Rest, JMS
  • Jboss, Postgresql, Eclipse, Maven, SVN/Git, Jenkins

Profile

At least 3 to 7 years' experience as a software architect

Know how

Level 4 expert technical skills required

  • Fullstack technical expertise (Java / JEE, Spring, Hibernate/JPA, Vaadin, Angular design and development)
  • High-volume batch processing (Spring batch)
  • Code reviews, software quality management
  • Modelling and design of complex software architectures
  • Drafting software architecture documents and technical design documents
  • Mastery of the development and deployment environment (Eclipse, SVN, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Jboss, Postgresql)
  • IT security / Information systems security
  • Written and oral interpersonal skills (listening and dialogue skills, meeting management, ability to summarise, ability to convince, ability to explain a technical subject in simple terms)
