For one of our clients based in Monaco, we are looking for an AMOA project manager with experience of educational projects and expertise in digital support for pupils and teachers.

Missions

Job description

The e-education project manager is responsible for implementing digital education projects and will act as an intermediary between the teams, ensuring that users' needs are translated into practical, workable solutions.

Activities

  • Managing projects using traditional V and/or agile methodologies;
  • Participating in drawing up the contract with the chosen software publisher(s);
  • Drawing up and implementing test and deployment strategies;
  • Managing the work carried out by external service providers;
  • Managing the project and the rules of governance (project committee, steering committee, etc.);
  • Working with the project management teams;
  • Measuring usage and conducting surveys to obtain quantitative and qualitative feedback;
  • Ensuring that the tools are used properly and adopted by the business;
  • Supporting and advising the business units;
  • Collaborate to facilitate deployment and transfer to the User Support teams;
  • Gathering and analysing user needs by visiting schools (students, teachers);
  • Organise, prepare and lead conferences on education issues;
  • Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day management;
  • Contribute to the content of training materials;
  • Contribute to the content of internal and external communication materials;
  • Participate in change management phases;
  • Apply current DSN models;
  • Respect and control project objectives (cost, deadline, quality, customer satisfaction);
  • Report to management and customers;
  • Disseminate best practice.

Profile

Required qualifications

Hold a national engineering diploma attesting to five years' higher education or a diploma recognised as equivalent by a competent authority in the country where the diploma was obtained, in the field of IT, new technologies or management, with a specialisation in the management of technology projects.

Length of experience required

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role managing educational projects;
  • Proven experience in gathering requirements and functional specifications.

Know how

  • Mastery of a project management methodology;
  • Excellent writing skills;
  • Sensitivity to the security of information systems and the protection of personal data;
  • Fluency in French (written and spoken) is required;
  • Certification in a project management methodology would be appreciated.

Know be

  • Ability to work as part of a team;
  • Autonomous, organised, rigorous, with solid progress monitoring and reporting skills;
  • Ability to analyse, model and summarise;
  • Ability to adapt to change and unforeseen circumstances;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (interaction with a wide range of people, including functional, technical and business end-users);
  • Excellent communication skills (need to explain, convince and keep abreast of issues/needs/constraints);
  • Good character: The successful candidate may be required to access confidential data, and a level of discretion and reserve commensurate with the nature of the information is expected.
