GeoData Coordinator (M/F) – Permanent contract – Monaco

Would you like to apply your geomatics skills to practical projects and support users in making the most of geographic data?

We are looking for a GeoData Coordinator to join a team specialising in digital twin projects and to contribute to the development of applications, content and tools related to geographic information systems.

Missions

Supporting users and business units

  • Understanding users’ needs and guiding them towards the appropriate GéoData solutions;
  • Provide support with getting to grips with and using GIS tools;
  • Help create web maps, dashboards, forms, applications and analyses;
  • Gradually helping users become more independent.

Foster the GéoData community

  • Help to run the user network;
  • Organise and contribute to workshops, demonstrations, training sessions and discussion forums;
  • Engage with business teams to identify their needs and new uses;
  • Showcase achievements and share best practice.

Produce and disseminate resources

  • Create tutorials, summary guides, examples and reusable templates;
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge-sharing platforms;
  • Research, test and select relevant resources and solutions.

Contribute to the team’s activities

  • Take part in the GeoData team’s projects and outputs;
  • Contribute to the production, enrichment and promotion of data;
  • Take part in testing new versions, applications and services;
  • Report users’ needs and any difficulties they encounter.

Explore new applications

  • Keep abreast of technologies and applications related to GeoData;
  • Identify and test new features and tools;
  • Identify needs that could lead to new services or projects.

Contribute to training

  • Contribute to the development of training programmes;
  • Gradually take charge of delivering certain training sessions for users;
  • Help to consolidate knowledge and enhance collective skills.

Profile

You hold a degree equivalent to at least a three-year higher education qualification, or a recognised equivalent qualification, and you have at least two years’ experience in a similar role.

Know how

  • General knowledge of GIS, geomatics and geographical data;
  • Understanding of the principles of cartography, spatial analysis and data management;
  • Knowledge of a GIS environment. Proficiency in the ArcGIS ecosystem would be an advantage;
  • An interest in topics related to data, digital technology and new applications;
  • Knowledge of or an interest in web and data visualisation tools;
  • Good command of office and collaborative tools;
  • Ability to write and structure clear documentation;
  • Technical English sufficient to consult documentation and resources.

  • Contract: Permanent contract.
  • Location: Monaco.
  • Working hours: 5 days a week.
  • Remote working: up to 2 days a week.
  • Desired start date: 1 October 2026.
  • Equipment provided: laptop, briefcase, portable docking station and headphones.
