Fleet manager - permanent contract - Monaco

As part of the implementation of a digital transformation programme, our client is looking to strengthen its Modern Workplace team.

Missions

The IT Asset Manager is responsible for the operational management of the lifecycle of IT equipment, guaranteeing the reliability of inventories, cost optimisation and the availability of equipment for users (workstations, screens, peripherals, printers).

Main responsibilities

  • Managing the coordination and planning of equipment renewal
  • To oversee the management of hardware stock (procurement, receipt, issue, scrapping, GLPI updates)
  • To plan, monitor and coordinate equipment replacements at the end of the contract.
  • Working closely with the local team
  • Manage assets using GLPI
  • Ensuring that inventories are properly updated
  • Participate in the continuity of service of the park team

Build activities

  • Participate in building the equipment catalogue
  • Contribute to the development of standards (PC models, screens, accessories, MFPs, etc.).
  • Analysing and costing non-catalogue business requests and proposing appropriate equipment
  • Suggest improvements to asset management processes
  • Supporting large-scale roll-out projects (upgrades, migrations, renewals)

Run activities

  • Manage equipment stocks, orders, receipts and allocations.
  • Monitoring hardware-related incidents in coordination with support.
  • Managing equipment rotation and organising logistics (repairs, replacement, recycling).
  • Keeping the allocation of equipment to users up to date.
  • Monitor compliance of deployed equipment.
  • Alerting you to any failure to meet delivery deadlines and after-sales service response times.
  • Check that the CMDB is updated by the Proximity team.
  • Monitor the expiry dates of IT asset warranties
  • Manage the delivery of hardware to remote sites

Documentation activities

  • Drafting and maintaining IT asset management procedures (entry, exit, after-sales service, end-of-life, etc.).
  • Updating equipment repositories.
  • Documenting inventory and reporting processes.
  • Capitalising on feedback to improve service quality.
  • Formalising asset management processes for the Local and VIP teams (deployment, after-sales service, recycling).

  • Participating in the drafting and analysis of calls for tender, negotiated procedures or consultations

Profile

  • Diplomas required / Training: Bac + 2 minimum
  • Length of experience required: 2 years in fleet management

Know how

Technical skills

  • Good knowledge of the GLPI environment
  • First-level budgetary knowledge (stock, depreciation, end-of-life).
  • Know how to optimise a fleet (rationalisation, standardisation, cost reduction).
  • Mastery of Excel and pivot tables
  • Sound technical knowledge of IT equipment.
  • Participate in the drafting and analysis of invitations to tender.
