GIS Administrator (M/F) – GIS-FME platforms – Permanent contract – Monaco

You will help to ensure that the GIS and FME platforms remain operational and secure, as well as contributing to their optimisation and modernisation.

In this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

• Administering and operating Esri-based GIS platforms, notably ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Administer and maintain ETL platforms based on FME Server / FME Flow.
• Manage and maintain ArcGIS Pro and FME Desktop / Form workstations.
• Monitoring and supporting the use of mobile GIS applications such as Survey123 and Field Maps.
• Handling user incidents in collaboration with internal support teams and external software vendors.
• Manage the O&M of the platforms: monitoring, alerting, debugging, performance monitoring, ticket management and implementation of technical solutions.
• Coordinate and carry out version upgrades, patches and application updates.
• Ensure the availability, operational security and performance of GIS platforms.
• Document maintenance activities and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Participate in architecture modernisation projects: cloud, containerisation, automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code.
• Gather, formalise and document functional and technical requirements.
• Draft specifications and contribute to the design of GIS solutions.
• Develop or oversee the development of GIS tools and web applications.
• Monitor partners and external service providers.
• Support users in adopting GIS tools and practices.

You hold a national engineering degree following five years of higher education, or a qualification recognised as equivalent, in the field of information systems.

You have at least five years’ experience in the management and administration of IT platforms, as well as at least five years’ experience on functional GIS projects.

You have a solid understanding of GIS environments and the associated technical platforms. Recent experience with the Esri suite is required.

The following skills are particularly sought after:

• Administration of ArcGIS Enterprise platforms.
• Use and administration of FME Server / FME Flow solutions.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, FME Desktop / Form, Survey123 and Field Maps.
• Knowledge of IT technical environments: architecture, platform maintenance, networks, monitoring.
• Experience in MCO, MCS, incident management, performance and operational security.
• Skills in structuring, processing and analysing geospatial data.
• Ability to lead institutional GIS projects.
• Drafting of functional, technical and contractual documentation.

Knowledge of cloud computing, Docker, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD or Infrastructure as Code would be an advantage.

You are independent, meticulous and organised. You are able to take the initiative and manage your priorities in a demanding environment.

You have good interpersonal skills and are able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, both technical and business-oriented. You are also able to coordinate communications with external partners and service providers.

You are recognised for your analytical, summarising and problem-solving skills. Good verbal and written communication skills are also required.

• Remote working: up to 2 days per week
