L3 Global Support Technical Expert - CDI - Carros

Would you like to join a team of experts at the heart of the digital transformation of Industry 4.0? We are looking for a Level 3 (L3) Global Technical Support Expert to strengthen an international entity specialising in industrial automation, IIoT and advanced software solutions.

Your mission: to become a technical reference, a trusted partner for our customers and a key player in solving the most complex problems with our automation and supervision solutions.

Missions

Reporting to a team of international technical experts, you will work on critical, high value-added issues. You will be the level 3 escalator for complex incidents that the L1/L2 levels cannot resolve.

Your day-to-day tasks:

  • Talking to customers to understand their needs, supporting them and reassuring them.
  • Reproduce, analyse and diagnose advanced technical problems.
  • Carrying out root cause analysis (RCA) and proposing corrective/palliative solutions.
  • Working closely with local and global technical teams, R&D, marketing, support and project/quality teams.
  • Represent the Voice of Customer in projects to enrich future offerings.
  • Contribute to the digital support strategy: FAQs, knowledge bases, tutorials, videos, demonstrations.
  • Supporting and developing the skills of L1/L2 teams.

Profile

With an engineering background in automation, industrial IT or software, you will have at least 5 years' experience in the field, ideally in :

  • an industrial systems integrator,
  • an OEM / Process OEM
  • or an industrial end-user.

An asset :

  • previous experience with a major international automation player,
  • electrical clearance.

Know how

  • industrial automation and control architectures,
  • industrial networks and communication protocols,
  • PLC programming software,
  • SCADA solutions,
  • advanced analysis and diagnosis methods.

Know be

Your communication is clear, factual and inspires confidence.
You are at ease in English (written/oral) and enjoy working with a variety of people (technicians, engineers, project managers, management, etc.).
Curious, autonomous, rigorous and organised, you are driven by customer satisfaction and teamwork.
