Our client in the Insurance sector, whose ambition is to meet the growing expectations of the Group's entities by delivering a service that is recognised as being at the level of best practice in the market, while helping to improve the Group's collective performance.

The role of the Information Systems Department is to provide the 25,000 users on a daily basis with the data and processing required for their activity, in compliance with service contracts; to guarantee the security and long-term viability of the Group's IT assets; to support the Group's commercial development in France and internationally; to develop new information systems and new technical infrastructures and to maintain existing systems.

Missions

Objectives and deliverables

We are looking for an experienced project manager to steer and coordinate the work carried out as part of the team's activities. 3 major versions are delivered each year in March, June and October.

Projects are managed in a V-cycle.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Steering and coordinating the work, with the contribution of the DTPI project manager and the MOE project managers
  • Leading and organising steering and project management meetings with the central team, project managers and business lines.
  • Contributing to the planning of the various teams and projects
  • Drawing up the schedule and workload plan for internal and external resources, in conjunction with the department's other managers and project leaders.
  • To manage and ensure the implementation of work in compliance with the quality, costs and deadlines defined with the contractors, processes and standards.
  • Leading working meetings, coordinating project stakeholders (project managers, business lines, external suppliers, etc.)
  • Preparing materials for project meetings
  • Produce reports and pass on information to your manager
  • Monitor the budget and activities of all projects in the budget monitoring and resource allocation tool
  • Ensure risk management within its scope
  • Participate in team leadership
  • Act as a relay for managers

Profile

With a 5-year degree in IT, the candidate will have more than 5 years' experience in IT project management, team management and business-IT support.

The candidate must have advanced knowledge in the following areas:

  • Solid experience in project management with several applications and scopes to be managed in parallel (organising the project, planning, coordinating, controlling and monitoring activities, drawing up and monitoring the budget, leading and supporting the team, managing contractual commitments, etc.).
  • Solid experience in organising and managing a diverse team
  • Ability to identify risks and implement action plans
  • Proven ability to engage in dialogue with a variety of stakeholders to align positions: customer, contributors, in-house technical experts, suppliers, publishers, etc.
  • Ability to produce presentation materials
  • Ability to propose different ways of organising the work
