Lead Architect M/F - CDI - Monaco

As part of the implementation of a digital transformation programme, our client is looking for a lead architect to drive the development of the department's digital projects.

Missions

The architect will join the team of specialists in the Digital Services Department

Responsibilities:

  • Defining and managing the IS technical development strategy.
  • Resolving complex incidents relating to inter-application flows, authentication and microservices.
  • Supporting the integration of new services into the existing architecture.
  • Designing application architectures and guaranteeing their functional and technical consistency.
  • Managing application roll-outs and ensuring that they comply with DSI standards.
  • Designing and formalising reliable, secure and scalable technical solutions.
  • Acting as the interface between the development, infrastructure and security teams.
  • Advising project teams on best practice in architecture, security and IAM.
  • Coordinating technical work with editors and external service providers.
  • Supervising the overall health of the information system and anticipating technical incidents.
  • Maintaining application mapping and IS architecture repositories.
  • Drafting the technical documentation for the solutions and upgrades implemented.
  • Respecting and controlling the project objectives set;
  • Reporting to management.

Profile

Diplomas

Hold a national engineering diploma attesting to five years' higher education or a diploma recognised as equivalent by a competent authority in the country where the diploma was obtained, in the field of information systems.

Length of experience required

  • At least 8 years' experience as a fullstack developer.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.

Know how

  • Mastery of authentication and IAM mechanisms (OIDC, OAuth2, SSO, Keycloak).
  • Good knowledge of interoperability standards (JSON, XML, OpenAPI/Swagger).
  • Working knowledge of PKI mechanisms (X.509 certificates, CSR, chains of trust, CRL).
  • Advanced understanding of essential network protocols (DNS, OSI, TLS, HTTPS, reverse proxy).
  • In-depth knowledge of integration patterns (REST API, messaging, events, queues, Kafka).
  • Strong awareness of information systems security and best practices (JWT, PKI, TLS).
  • Mastery of HTTP frameworks, statuses, application errors and API best practice.
  • Good understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers, ELK, Prometheus, Graphana, APM).
  • Mastery of Java/Spring environments and multi-module build tools.
  • Excellent command of distributed architectures and inter-application dependencies.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve cross-functional technical incidents.
  • Ability to clearly document solutions and architectures.
  • Adaptability and pragmatism to propose realistic and operational solutions.
