As part of a drive to strengthen its technical team, the Agence Monégasque de Sécurité Numérique is looking for a passionate and motivated Linux Systems Administrator to ensure the operational and security maintenance of its infrastructure running on Linux systems. The successful candidate will need to be curious, structured and capable of rapidly acquiring new skills. They will be involved in a variety of projects, from managing existing solutions to deploying new software components as part of the Agency's development.

Missions

Maintaining Linux systems in operational and security conditions

Administering, monitoring and troubleshooting existing systems and services;
Ensuring regular security updates (MCS) for Linux operating systems and applications;
Resolve operating incidents and optimise service availability.

Backup management

Implementing and maintaining proper backup management;
Regularly checking that back-ups and restorations are running smoothly and documenting them;
Participate in defining backup policies (RPO / RTO).

Systems monitoring

Implementing and configuring supervision tools to monitor the status of systems;
Analysing alerts and ensuring the constant availability of services.

Deployment of new software bricks

Installing, configuring and documenting new tools on the infrastructure according to defined needs;
Working with automation and orchestration tools;
Setting up test environments and actively participating in the industrialisation of solutions.

Documentation and technology watch

Writing the technical documentation associated with the systems and projects deployed, in an internal Wiki.
Keeping a technology watch to propose relevant innovations or continuous improvements.

Profile

Level of education

Bac+5 (with 2 years' experience);
Bac+4 (with 4 years' experience);
Bac+3 (with 6 years' experience).

Know how

Technical skills required

Experience of Linux systems administration (Debian, Ubuntu);
Experience of systems virtualisation (Proxmox);
Good knowledge of backup/restore/monitoring;
Mastery of the main network concepts (firewall, DNS, etc.);
Mastery of the use of certificates and secure protocols (IPSEC/TLS);
Ability to automate tasks by creating scripts (Bash, Python);
Interest in the open source ecosystem;
A definite interest in information systems security.

Technical skills appreciated

Experience with containerisation tools and associated technologies (LXC, Docker, Kubernetes);
Experience with CI/CD environments;
Knowledge of SIEM technologies (Splunk/ELK);
Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible), directory management (LDAP), monitoring and metrology (Nagios/Centreon/grafana/Zabbix), asset inventory (ocs inventory);
Knowledge of PKI/IGC concepts and key management (symmetric/asymmetric).
