Trainer for pupils and teachers (M/F) – Permanent contract – Monaco

As part of the roll-out of a digital transformation programme, our client is looking for a trainer.

Missions

Description

To bolster the team at the start of the new school year to train pupils and staff in digital tools and digital hygiene, and to support the transition to the new term.

Activities

  • Prepare and deliver training sessions on the use of laptops and digital tools (Windows, Office 365, Teams);
  • Adapt teaching content and methods to suit pupils’ ages and levels (primarily Year 7);
  • Raise awareness of best practices in cybersecurity, digital literacy, social media and the protection of personal data;
  • Design, update and enhance training materials;
  • Manage unforeseen technical issues and adapt the training in real time;
  • Work closely with the team of trainers and the change management teams;
  • Help drive change in digital projects: scoping, drafting training plans, organising and facilitating sessions, monitoring schedules and reporting;
  • Take the initiative to propose ways of continuously improving training programmes.

Profile

Qualifications

Hold a national qualification certifying three years of higher education or a qualification recognised as equivalent by a competent authority in the country where it was awarded.

Required experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in similar roles;
  • A proven track record of more than 2 years’ experience in the field of training/change management would be an advantage.

Know how

  • Proficiency in training and teaching techniques for school pupils;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Office 365 and Windows systems;
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods and delivery to suit different learner profiles;
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in French (written and spoken);
  • Team spirit, a collaborative approach and the ability to listen;
  • Ability to adapt, work independently and respond effectively to unforeseen circumstances;
  • Awareness of information system security and the protection of personal data;
  • Knowledge of the challenges of digital transformation in education;
  • Proficiency in project management methodology (planning, monitoring, reporting).

  • Ability to work as part of a team;
  • Independent, organised and meticulous, with strong skills in progress monitoring and reporting;
  • Ability to analyse, model and synthesise information;
  • Ability to adapt to change and unforeseen circumstances;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (interacting with a variety of stakeholders, including functional and technical staff, and end-users from different business areas);
  • Excellent communication skills (ability to explain, persuade and keep abreast of issues, requirements and constraints);
  • High ethical standards: the successful candidate may be required to access confidential data; a level of discretion and reserve commensurate with the nature of the information is expected.

Provision of a laptop, laptop bag, portable docking station and headphones

Full-time training during September and part-time training three days a week from October to December. As training sessions may start at 8am, accommodation close to Monaco is recommended.
