HRIS Migration Technical Analyst - Permanent Contract - Monaco

As part of the overhaul of our client's Human Resources Information System, the Information Systems Department is looking to strengthen the team with an expert consultant capable of making an immediate operational contribution to the interfaces and data recovery aspects.

Job description

The Technical Analyst will join the Applications Division, which is responsible for the development and maintenance of our customer's legacy applications.

As part of this project, which aims to replace a set of existing Payroll and HR applications with a new target HRIS , you will play a pivotal role between the expression of functional requirements and their technical implementation, focusing in particular on two major technical areas:

  • The construction of application interfaces between the target HRIS and the legacy system components in order to ensure the continuity of data flows and interoperability.
  • The recovery and migration of legacy data from the source systems to the new target repository, guaranteeing the integrity, quality and completeness of the integrated data.

This work is being carried out by the BUILD project team in the Digital Services Division, in close collaboration with the RUN application managers in the Applications Division and the experts in the business divisions.

Main activities

Reverse engineering of existing interfaces

The technical analyst's first task will be to analyse and document all the application interfaces and functional flows in production linking the HR/Payroll bricks of the legacy IS.

Drafting technical specifications for new interfaces

On the basis of the analyses carried out and the requirements expressed by the business and application managers, the consultant will produce detailed specifications for the new interfaces between the target solution and the legacy IS, including in particular

  • drafting specifications for each interface identified
  • Choosing and justifying the integration patterns selected (REST API, flat files, etc.).
  • contributing to the design of the integration solution in line with the target IS architecture.

Data recovery

The technical analyst will be involved in the design and implementation of processes for migrating legacy data to the target system, including in particular :

  • Identifying the data to be transferred, analysing its quality and volume.
  • Drafting the migration specifications.
  • Designing SQL queries to extract data from legacy systems.
  • Participating in the design and monitoring of loading scripts into the target system.
  • Support during the migration acceptance phases (UAT, test campaigns, corrections).

Profile

  • Qualifications/education required: At least 3 years' higher education
  • Length of experience required: Minimum 5 years' experience in an equivalent position
    Experience with a major account or large public body is desirable

Know how

Technical skills

  • Solid knowledge of general information system technologies and architectures and N-Tier architectures;
  • Experience of software development in Java;
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL(PostgreSQL, DB2);
  • Proven experience in application integration and interface design(API REST, flat files, etc.);
  • Practice in application reverse engineering(code analysis, reading database schemas, exploratory analysis of existing documentation, etc.);
  • Drafting and use of detailed technical documents(framework, technical specifications, architecture document);
  • Experience of IT project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Redmine, or equivalent);
  • Writing of RIDA reports;
  • Proficiency in office and collaborative IT tools;

Functional skills

  • Knowledge of HR (administrative management, payroll, GTA, recruitment, training) highly appreciated.
  • Experience of at least one major overhaul and migration project as the main technical contributor.
  • Ability to liaise with non-technical business teams and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.

More informations

  • Start date: from 1 June 2026
  • Duration: 12 months, renewable until 18 December 2027
  • Working hours: Full time
  • Teleworking: up to 3 days/week subject to project and service quality conditions
