Technical Analyst - permanent contract - Monaco

The technical analyst will join the team responsible for developing and maintaining our customer's applications. He or she plays a pivotal role between the expression of business needs and their technical implementation, and provides expert technical support to the members of the project team.

Main tasks

Analysis and design

Compulsory skills

• Analysing detailed functional specifications methodically and critically
• Identifying inconsistencies, gaps and technical risks, and highlighting key points (batch processing, interfaces, volumes)
• Ensuring a full understanding of the needs expressed before any design phase
• Translate functional needs into technical requirements and write detailed technical specifications including :
  • Security requirements and compliance with ISD norms and standards
  • Definition of the data model
  • Organisation of data on the file system
  • Identification of parameterisable properties by environment
  • Definition of interface contracts (customer and/or supplier side)
  • API documentation
  • Drafting batch processing macro-algorithms
• Drawing up workload estimates (by major function or standardised brick) on the basis of functional and technical specifications
• Participate in technical workshops relating to the implementation of application interfaces

Acceptance and quality

• Defining technical acceptance criteria and the technical testing strategy
• Drawing up the technical acceptance specifications
• Checking that the development teams' deliverables comply with the technical specifications

Possible activities :

Your knowledge of software technologies and architectures will enable you to play an active role in the design phases of upgrades and corrections to all the solutions deployed on our customer's IS.

Qualifications/education required: 5 years' higher education

Length of experience required: Minimum 7-10 years' experience in software development in a JAVA environment, including at least 2 years' experience in an equivalent position as Technical Analyst or Technical Software Requirement Engineer.

Language: technical English required

Experience with a major account or large public body is desirable

• Sound knowledge of general information system technologies and architectures and N-Tier architectures
• Knowledge of application and information system security principles;
• Knowledge of sensitive IS platform concepts
• Solid knowledge of the Java ecosystem, Spring framework and Maven
• Experience of software development in Java
• Expertise in web standards: OpenAPI, OAuth, JWT
• Knowledge of the Linux environment
• Knowledge of SQL(PostgreSQL, DB2)
• Experience in REST API design
• Experience of Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of Ansible configuration management tools
• Drafting and use of technical documents relating to a software platform requirement (scoping, technical specifications, DAT, DCT, DEX)
• Ability to solve IT problems, identify causes, make corrections or propose workarounds
• Experience of IT project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Redmine, or equivalent)
• Writing of RIDA reports
• Fluency in French
• Good command of office and collaborative IT tools
