Within the IT department of our client's Group Information Systems Division in Marseille, we are looking for a candidate to provide support for audiovisual and network solutions.

Missions

The minimum objectives of the position will be:

  • Ensuring that our site's audiovisual, unified communications (UC) and network solutions are maintained in operational condition.
  • Operate the site's audiovisual, UC and network facilities, which link directly to the meeting and training rooms, video booth, podcast studio, mobile PA system and Event Centre. To meet the needs of the Tangram team, schools, partners and regular events.
  • Process and document operational maintenance routines to meet current and future needs.
  • Ensuring and guaranteeing the correct deployment of our AV/UC and network standards.
  • Keeping a technological watch on equipment.
  • To have a medium and long-term vision of these subjects in agreement with site management.

Duties:

You will have the highest level of expertise in local audiovisual support, which will have enabled you to work independently on a wide range of issues, including live events, audio conferencing and video conferencing.

You will need to be proficient in the advanced features of Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) and Live Events, the associated ecosystem (Barco, Nureva, Polycom, Shure, Dante, Creston, etc) and office tools (Pack Office, ticketing tools). IP network skills are desirable.

Proactive by nature, you anticipate incidents and work towards continuous improvement using Activity Reports.

Versatile, you have good customer relations and support skills, as well as a sense of service and team spirit. Good presentation and thoroughness are qualities required for this position.

The main tasks of the post will be :

  • Operation, maintenance and upgrading of Audiovisual & UC equipment (Microsoft Teams, Polycom, live stream, record, post production, digital signage, Analog Way, Dante, AV, Crestron, Samsung Led Walls & LCD, etc.)
  • System & Network operations (LAN, WiFi, Firewall, etc.)
  • Participating in the diagnostic phase, proposing improvement plans and monitoring corrective action on our installations.
  • Propose, draft and update BCPs and DRPs, in agreement with site management.
  • Documenting, summarising and sharing knowledge and best practice within the Network & UC team.
  • Communicating technically and non-technically with different types of people.
  • Providing local support to users of the site's audiovisual solutions in conjunction with CMA CGM experts, manufacturers and integrators.
  • The position has a regular operational side.

Control of AV equipment Monitoring of devices (camera, MTR, sound bars)

  • With the integrator, system ticketing and monitoring of corrective/preventive maintenance.
  • Monitoring the Dante network
  • Systematisation of test sessions

Technological environment Network :

  • LAN, WiFi and Firewall management and configuration.
  • Good knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, Pol/Gpon, etc.).
  • Administration and maintenance of network equipment (switches, routers, WiFi access points).
  • Optimisation of network security and implementation of advanced security policies, in accordance with the Group's cyber regulations.
  • Technical documentation and training of in-house team to ensure knowledge transfer.

Network technology :

  • Cisco Meraki (WiFi network management, cloud-managed)
  • Cisco Catalyst (LAN network switching)
  • Checkpoint (firewalls, network security)
  • Cisco Meraki and Cisco Catalyst.

Know be

Skills required:

  • At least 5 years' relevant experience in the audiovisual field (not including internships or work/study programmes).
  • At least 3 to 5 years' relevant experience as a network engineer (not including work placements or sandwich courses).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external audiences.
  • Sufficient level of English to communicate verbally and in writing with the Group's manufacturers and teams.
  • Excellent presentation, VIP level.
  • Teaching skills for training in the use of audiovisual solutions.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to summarise and be thorough.
  • Comfortable working both behind the scenes and in front of the spotlight.

Preferred skills:

  • Experience of events: concerts, shows, TV sets, festivals, etc.
  • Experience in broadcasting.
  • Experience with an international group.
